RGR NB MIATA WICKERS (SPATS)

Many Miata owners, especially those who take their cars to the track, upgrade their tire size. When this happens, the tires tend to protrude beyond the bodywork, which can negatively impact aerodynamics.

RGR NB Miata Spats offer an affordable, bolt-on solution to address this issue. By deflecting airflow around the tires, instead of allowing it to hit the tires and enter the wheel well (which creates drag and lift), these spats help streamline airflow, reducing both drag and lift.

In addition to managing airflow around the tires, these spats create a high-pressure zone that directs more air underneath the vehicle, improving the aerodynamic efficiency of the bumper and front splitter.

No special tools or hardware are required for installation. These spats are designed to bolt on using the factory inner fender hardware—simply pop out the existing hardware and install the spats in their place.

They are compatible with Track Dog splitters but fit best with RGR’s own splitter designs. A short version (shown in red in the images) is available for those not running a splitter or who prefer its look.

If choosing the Carbon Fiber option, please allow two weeks for processing, as this is a special order.
